“Great Will Be Your Peace”

handsAs I was praying for the next generation this morning, the Holy Spirit brought to mind Isaiah 54:13:

All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children.”

I agreed with the Lord in prayer about this and then He said to me: “Great will be your peace.”

Then I remembered that I am God’s child too! As a Believer in Jesus Christ, so are you and this promise applies to you:

  • “And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:29).
  •  “Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it (Mark 10:15).”
  • “Therefore be imitators of God as dear children (Ephesians 5:1).”

So just as God promised to teach the little ones, so He promises to teach us adults as His dear children.

My prayer for you today is that you humble yourself so that the Lord can teach you as He wills. Show up for class daily. Obey His instruction and great will be your peace!

Be blessed in Health, Healing, and Wholeness,

  • This was for me!! God woke me up this morning and I didn’t know why. He used to wake me up to pray for someone or give me a word. But I think this time was to let me know he was still with me. Lately he’s been feeling so far away. I haven’t been praying and spending time with him like I used to. I have become so lazy both spiritually and physically.

Thank you so much for obeying the promptings of the Holy Spirit. May God continue to bless you and your family. I pray the blessings are overflowing in your life. Keep doing God’s will.

    • Hi Tan – I receive that! Praise God for waking you up. He is always so patient with us. TMy prayer for you is that you continue to drink from the fountain of living waters and your thirst for Him will always be quenched!

  • I started off well but am slowly losing steam. My prayer is for endurance. I need to stay the course. I know there is victory on the other side but my flesh is fighting to the death. The Lord just showed me to fight Spiritually and to use the entire armor that He provided. I am victorious not a victim.

    • Danel – what you’ve described as starting well and losing steam is normal. When you start something new, your brain release a chemical to give you motivation to start, like a spark plug. But that wears off in 4-10 days. That is why it is important that you establish a strong WHY of commitment. Why is achieving the results important to you? Write that down. Motivation gets you going but it is commitment that will keep you going. This is indeed a Spiritual battle and you need to keep using Spiritual weapons to win. God bless you!
