Change, Conquer, Connect, Prepare

Powerful questions can change your life! I attended a women’s meeting at our church recently and the presenter gave us four powerful questions regarding our journey with the Lord so far.

I thought the question were so good that I want to share them with you.

Proverbs 1:5 says, "A wise man will hear and increase learning, And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel…"

Our experience can be one of our best teachers – provided we use what we learn to move forward, not to hold ourselves back.

Here are those questions:

1. Where have you changed?
2. What did you conquer that almost killed you?
3. With whom have you connected that caused you to soar?
4. What is the Lord preparing you for?

I suggest you take a moment to write down your answers.

Your own testimony about how far the Lord has brought you is a great encouragement.

Encourage yourself in the Lord so that you can finish your life's race well!

P.S. Many people have written to say how the Take Back Your Temple Community has helped them. My husband Mike and I have a big vision from the Lord regarding TBYT’s future, including building a retreat center and creating a community garden so that elders and youth can work together to harvest produce that will be donated to shelters, youth homes, and other organizations in need.

If the Lord puts it on your heart, we are providing an opportunity to send a Love gift to sow into TBYT. Here is the link:

We are looking forward to seeing this vision come to pass! We have elders who are becoming socially isolated and youth who are getting in trouble with the law. So we believe this would be a good way to bring the generations together for a common purpose for God's glory.

We appreciate your contribution - may the Lord bless you 100-fold in return!

Kimberly Taylor

Kimberly Taylor is the founder of Take Back Your Temple, a Christ-centered teaching ministry that helps Christian women understand what emotional eating is communicating and respond with wisdom, steadiness, and peace.

After years of struggling with emotional eating and reaching 240 pounds, Kimberly experienced lasting change through Scripture-guided renewal, practical stewardship, and learning to recognize the signals her body had been carrying.

Today, she helps women move from pressure and shame into clarity and steady formation, teaching that emotional eating is often a signal of inner strain rather than a failure of discipline.
