Merry Christmas aka The Meaning of Life

Wouldn’t it be a tragedy if a person spent their whole life caught up in the hustle and bustle of life – only to miss out on the MEANING of life?

It’s a great question to pause and consider this Christmas! You’ll learn why in a moment.

One author put it this way: ”Many people are busy climbing the ladder of success – only to reach the end of their lives and discover the ladder was leaning against the wrong wall!”

But Jesus reveals the meaning of life in John 17:3:

”And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”

Simple, right? But most people miss it!

So their days are consumed in futility and their years in fear (see Psalm 78:22-23).

Today, we celebrate the birth of Jesus – the One who makes it possible for us to know God. Not an arms-length relationship, but a powerful, intimate, daily relationship with the Lord and the One who created the unique you.

When you live in the light of that blessed knowledge each day, you see your daily choices as an opportunity to know and trust God more.

Thank Jesus for that!

So let’s celebrate Him today with a heart full of thanksgiving and lips full of praise! God bless you and your family on this wonderful holiday ❤️

Mike and I love you and are grateful for you!
