What is a Temple Guardian?

A while back, I was helping my elderly mother clean her garbage can (glamorous, I know!). As I scrubbed away, a powerful phrase popped into my head: “Temple Guardian.”

A Temple Guardian is one who defends, protects, and keeps a temple. According to 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, our bodies are God’s temple so it is wise that we Christians guard our health as:

  • Spiritually Strong: Nurturing our relationship with God through prayer, praise, scripture, and fellowship.
  • Mentally Sound: Cultivating a faith-filled mindset and managing our emotions in Godly ways.
  • Physically Fit: Nourishing our bodies with wholesome foods and staying active.

It’s not about being perfect; it’s about doing our best!

As a new Take Back Your Temple member, welcome to our Community of Temple Guardians!

Be blessed in health, healing, and wholeness,
