"Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place (2 Corinthians 2:14)."
My prayer is for everyone connected with TBYT to become "fail-proof." Too often, people are so quick to brand themselves "failures" when their plans don't turn out exactly the way they expect.
Why is that? I challenge you to view the situation with new eyes:
Perhaps some assumptions you made were different than you thought at the beginning.
Maybe the process is going to take more time than you estimated.
Could it be that your mindset needs to change to match the result you want to achieve?
Since many reasons exist as to why you didn't obtain the results you wanted in the time-frame you expected, then why would you call yourself a "failure"?
That assessment is so final. But what does that accomplish?
That is the 100% way that you will never get the dream you want!
It makes you discouraged so that you quit. Exactly what the enemy wants!
He wants you to live your life sick and sad so that you don't achieve the purpose God has for your life.
He wants you so focused on your own pain that you can't help others with theirs.
Here is what the Lord showed me:
Even if the whole world calls you a failure, it only matters if you agree with them.
So here is my challenge to you: Accept life as the ultimate "choose your own adventure" activity.
Somebody else has gone through a similar circumstance as you have, yet succeeded.
Maybe they too were tempted to declare themselves a failure at the exact point where you are right now.
But then they said to themselves: "If I'm breathing, I'm believing!"
They took a deep breath, re-evaluated their plan, and then took the next small step forward.
Because they did not give up, they got it.
Today is a great one to start becoming fail-proof!
Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place (2 Corinthians 2:14)."
