Living Day by Day

I’ve said previously that the name “Take Back Your Temple” is really a prayer that asks God to take control of your body and life so that He can use them for his purpose and agenda. You don’t want to get healthy for your own self gratification (although feeling better is a wonderful side effect), rather you do it because you know that it will help you to get on with the real business of life: to accomplish God’s will for your life.

I read a wonderful article this morning from a website I use often to help myself understand scripture passages I am reading. The site is Raystedman.org and it is by a pastor who has long since passed away. But he left behind some tremendous wisdom on how to live the Christian life victoriously.

I read an article on that site this morning, which gave new meaning and richness to my own prayer to God to “Take Back Your Temple.”

This article gives practical steps on how you can actually live day by day according to that prayer in a real, practical way.  It really inspired me and I hope it inspires you too!

P.S.  If you decide to pray to God to “take back your temple”, then I would love to hear about it. You can either contact me using the Contact form on the website or post it in the comments to share with others.
