I have a problem with snacking when I am at home. I snack when I am not hungry and then feel bad about it. Your teaching has been helping me..I want to take back my temple and be healthy
Hello Ms. Kim,
I happen to stumble onto your website, which was a blessing! I am 31 years old and have struggled with my weight my whole life. I didn’t really know the intensity of my issue until I was no longer active in sports (during my high school and college years)and now at my age I am at the highest peak of my life weighing at 200lbs. But God… Today (July 6, 2011), I am now at the place where I am determined to “Take back my life!!”
God has even shown me that what I am dealing with is even beyond my weight but that it has been one of the strongholds in my family’s bloodline that satan has used to try to keep me bound, but the buck stops here!! I appreciate all the information you provide for both women (and men) who struggles in the area of food and loosing weight. It is definitely going to be a challenge, but I’m willing to fight for what God has already destined me to have!
Bless you Ms. Kim
I have come to a crossroads in my life. I have followed all of the commercial weight loss plans except for one all of my life. Now I am wondering if it is the right thing to do to follow this weight loss plan or just count calories and fat myself and just prayer? Am I falling into insanity and not giving God the glory but the weight loss plan? This question is perplexing me.. So when I get to the right weight for good health are folks going to jump on the wagon of the commercial plan. Or will the example be..Because of God she is now the correct weight for her health.. Thank you for this sight and your very encouraging words. May God Be the Gloring
Blessings and Light.
Hi Sheree B,
First, I applaud you for wanting to take action to achieve a healthy weight. If this issue is confusing for you, I recommend you get a pen and piece of paper, pray and ask God to give you answers. Then, just start writing down all of your feelings about the issue. Any wisdom that God gives you about how to handle this issue, write it down. You might also want to check out the ‘Beginner Small Steps’ section. I give you small, daily actions you can take to start losing weight. But whatever God tells you to do, then do it. And you will reap a blessing!
God’s timing is awesome! This was exactly the message I needed to hear today. I listened twice and then again to write down what was really speaking to my heart and ended up writing, pausing, rewinding and writing until I had a transcript of the entire message. Thank you Kimberly for being so courageous to be transparent and talk about subjects and challenges that I struggle with and try to keep hidden from the world because of my fear of being exposed and/or judged. But this junk I try to hide from the world needs to be exposed to the Light and cleansed and healed. Hearing your testimony and identifying the truth about the sin I was in denial about was life changing for me. Thank you! God bless you and your ministry.
Thank you, Barbara – I appreciate your kind words! There is healing power is being honest with God, yourself, and others. I am glad that you’ve taken a step forward. Each day, as you strive to live a healthy life in godliness and honesty, your courage will be an inspiration to others. God bless you!
