Recipe: Avocado Salad Dressing (click to expand)

Ingredients:

  • 1 Avocado Peeled, Pitted, and chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 Clove Garlic, Chopped
  • Teaspoon Salt
  • Dash Pepper Or Cayenne
  • Olive oil/water to thin dressing per your taste

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth; add water and/or olive oil until mixture is at your preferred level of consistency.

 

Recipe: Split Pea Soup (click to expand)

Ingredients:

  • 1 ¾ C dried split peas (1lb pkg)
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 1 can chicken broth (14 1/2 oz)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 10 grinds fresh ground pepper
  • 2oz. lean ham chucks (optional).

Combine all ingredients except ham in the crock pot. Cook on high for 6 hours and VOILA! Fabulous
split pea soup! Add ham in last 30 minutes.
