A new challenge

By Kimberly Taylor

Well, I’ve done well with my fitness goals and the scale is moving downward again. At work, a group of coworkers have decided to start a “Biggest Loser” club for motivation for weight loss. I joined because I think the support would be good. I can share what I’ve learned and also learn from others. Plus, whoever loses the greatest percentage of their body weight will win $300! Not a bad sum to start a summer wardrobe.

The methods used for weight loss have to be safe: No pills, surgery, extreme dieting, or excessive exercise.

The challenge runs through May 8. I am going to step up my exercise program. There is a gym at work and I’m adding 40 minutes of elliptical training to my daily routine. I am eager to meet this new challenge and will document my progress.
